Bay of Corgeno

The southern shores of Lake Comabbio is a natural area where many bird species, and particularly ducks, come to nest. This lake also has a thriving fish population, consisting primarily of pike, Po brook lamprey, pearl roach, carp and tench.

 

The bay of Corgeno gives visitors the chance to take a nature walk named 'Percorso Acqua', Water Route, running along the shores of the lake, and into the surrounding reed beds, also crossing a beach with various tourist services, and one of the most important rowing centres of the district. The bay distances only 3 km from Villa Borghi.
